Vida’s Story
About Vida Psychology
Vida Psychology was founded in 2007 by Carmen Beaumont.
Born in El Salvador, a war-torn Central American country, Carmen migrated to Australia in 1987 as a political refugee. Her passion for making a difference in people’s life was ignited by experiencing firsthand the profound impact of war on physical and mental well-being.
In 2003, Carmen began her journey to help others, quickly realising the need for strong relationships with health professionals to maximise her impact. This led Carmen to create a team that shared her passions, beliefs, and values, and thus, Vida Psychology was born in 2007.
