Introducing Emily Bull – Child and Adolescent Psychologist

Vida Psychology is delighted to announce Child and Adolescent Psychologist Emily Bull has joined our dynamic and expanding team.

Below is a brief outline of Emily’s experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:
Masters of Psychology (Educational & Developmental). Monash University
General registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency – AHPRA)
Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS)
Emily holds a Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Experience:
Emily is passionate about working with young people to help them to realise and achieve their potential. She has worked as a Psychologist and counsellor in a range of school settings, including both primary and secondary schools.
Emily has also worked with young people to improve their social skills, study skills, and the ability to regulate their behaviour and emotions.
Areas of Expertise:
Emily has particular experience assisting children and adolescents. She also has extensive general experience with:
Anxiety,
Depression,
Low self-esteem,
Grief and loss, and
Sleep issues
Bullying
Treatment Modalities:
Emily uses evidence-based interventions (e.g., Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) which are tailored to the individual client. She also has extensive experience administering a range of cognitive, educational and behavioural assessments.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys reading, playing netball, going to the footy, and spending time with her friends and family.

Emily will make a terrific contribution to the friendly and welcoming environment at Vida Psychology.

Emily is fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, a member of the Australian Psychological Society and a Medicare Provider.
